1. First, place the oil collection tray underneath the vehicle.
2. Locate and remove the oil plug, double-checking it’s draining into the tray.
3. Allow the oil to drain completely. 
4. Take out the used oil filter and install the new one.
5. Put the oil drain plug back in.
6. Locate the engine oil cap under the hood, and set it aside. If you can’t find it easily, a diagram in your owner’s manual will point it out. 
7. Using a funnel, slowly pour the proper amount of oil into your Camry.
8. As it fills, double-check the drain plug to make sure it is not leaking.
9. Be sure not to add too much oil. Pour slowly and deliberately to avoid over-pouring. 
10. Once you’ve added the proper amount of oil, check the oil level with the dipstick. Take it out, wipe it clean, and reinsert it to take a new measurement. 
11. If you notice your maintenance light is still illuminated after you’ve successfully conducted your Toyota Camry oil change, reset the system.
