Toyota took the recent New York International Auto Show by storm with a handful of surprises fans of the brand will surely appreciate. At the show, Toyota debuted upcoming versions of two production models, as well as a fresh concept geared toward Gen-Y urbanites with a love for the great outdoors. The team at Brent Brown Toyota is confident each of the below models will make stunning additions to our new vehicle inventory. Read on to see what was unveiled and what you can expect!

2018 Sienna Minivan

New technological advancements are on the horizon for the United States’ top-selling van. At the New York Auto Show, Toyota rolled out the 2018 Sienna with standard Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P), which includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and more. In addition, the 2018 Sienna will get a new Toyota Entune 3.0 infotainment system, complete with a navigation system and App Suite Connect. Five USB ports and new 4.2-inch TFT multi-information display will make an appearance, as well as an optional Bird’s Eye View Monitor and Rear Seat Entertainment system with streaming capability for Android.

2018 Yaris Hatchback

For 2018, the Yaris will don a bolder, more athletic look, both interiorly and exteriorly. The L and LE trims get a restyled front fascia with a new, chrome-accented grille, while the SE brags a piano black mesh pattern grille with a chrome surround and 16-inch machined alloy wheels. Every trim receives sporty analog instrumentation, as well as an LCD display with a tripmeter, an ECO-driving indictor, and more. Siri Eyes Free, a 6-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth are standard equipment across the board, although the SE takes technology up a notch with Entune Audio Plus with Connected Navigation App, a 7-inch display, HD Radio, and more.

FT-4X Concept SUV

The New York Auto Show also saw the debut of the brand-new FT-4X Concept, or “Future Toyota” Four-Wheel Drive Crossover. Designed by Toyota’s Calty Design studio in Newport Beach, CA, the FT-4X’s “casual core” styling elements complement the lifestyles of city-dwelling yet adventurous Millennials. Its flat roof offers storage for longer objects, such as kayaks and surfboards, while its rear multi-hatch opens horizontally and vertically for hassle-free loading. The spacious cabin is separated into three zones: Clean Zone for passengers, Wet Zone for wet clothing/shoes, and Rear Cargo Zone for luggage, gear, etc.
